Starting Tuesday and lasting until May 14, the Valley Library Quad will be covered in white and red flags to show the number of Iraqis and Americans that have died since the invasion of Iraq in March 2003.
The flags and information are brought to OSU by the Iraq Body Count Exhibit, which is a non-political organization that informs the public of the exact loss of life that has resulted in the past five years.

If you think all things green are good, do not worry. This has not yet been proven as a symptom of clinical lunacy.
Like so many symptoms of the liberal mindset, this one comes from a lack of education and a lack of delving underneath the tagline factoids that permeate the dispatches from the Eco-nauts.

Warning: Minor spoilers ahead.
I've been kind of a sucker for comic books since I was young, and as a result I've seen most of the comic book-based movies that have come out in the last few years. I've seen all of the three "X-Men," "Blade," "Daredevil," "Spider-Man," "Superman Returns," "Batman Begins," "Aquaman Saves a Third-World Village," etc.

It was a simple idea--let animals be animals.
And with that straightforward, yet brilliant concept, an old cable standard-often forgotten in the world of MTV sluts and truTV meth heads--finally came into its own.
It's the rebirth of the 12-year-old Animal Planet.

Break As We Fall is a solid band. Solid in the way that if you pick up their EP at Bombs Away Café today, you will hear how natural they sound as a band. Inspired by jazz, '90s rock and ska, they just work. The best way to describe the sound of the band's self-titled EP is to imagine if Jason Mraz and Maroon 5 had a child that started a ska band, mixed with a healthy dose of awesome.

It's the phrase no one wants to read or hear. It signifies loss and remorse, pain and suffering. It might read like a fragment, but it's complete - with warm embraces from loved ones and strangers alike.
Sometimes it's the people you never know that affect you the most.

After reading the "Ad-Hoc Committee on Free Press'" report I am left with an awful taste in my mouth. Not because I was proven wrong - if in fact, I am, then so be it, but in the manner in which the investigation and subsequent documents were handled - by university employees asked to self police, within house (but "independently," of course).

There is precious little space reserved in this issue of the Journal for what I think about "Schindler's List." I find myself up at night, wondering how my life will continue after seeing this film.
Have you ever had to cover your eyes because of something in a movie? Did someone comfort you by saying, "It's only a movie," and did you feel better? Regrettably, I had no such comfort, as the events in this film were true, and I felt obligated to watch it despite my disgust, pain and real tears.
